Our experienced, professionally qualified Psychologists hold formal University qualifications and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They practice according to professional and ethical standards set out by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and AHPRA.

Harry Parker – Owner & Director

Experience

Harry has over 40 years of business experience in risk management, client relationships, management, marketing, business development, contract negotiation, ethics and corporate governance. He is a strong advocate for promoting the highest standards of professionalism and ethics within the EAP Industry particularly throughout the Asia Pacific Region. Harry is a Past President of The Asia Pacific Employee Assistance Roundtable (APEAR), Past Adjunct Director of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association International (EAPA), Past Treasurer of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association International (EAPA – Australian Branch) and Past International Officer of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Australia (EAPAA). He is also a Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and currently on the Newcastle Committee, Newcastle Business Club and Hunter Business Chamber.

Ron Farrell

Experience

Ron has over 30 years experience as a Counsellor working with disability, injury rehabilitation, critical incident services and psychological counselling. His interests are in medical psychology and working with the elderly. He has specialised in trauma counselling services in the coal industry, emergency services and veteran community. He has two grown up daughters and enjoys body surfing and music.


Maudy Liu

Locations: Telehealth sessions

Experience

Maudy has over 30 years of experience in counselling. She specialises in EAP counselling, working with adults, couples and older persons. Maudy has experience in providing psychology treatment in areas of stress, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, anger issues and other personal and work related concerns. Maudy enjoys good food.


Jessica Scala

Locations: Mayfield

  • Graduate Diploma of Rehabilitation Counselling

Jessica has experience working with clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, PTSD, work related issues, anger and aggression management. She uses therapies such as mindfulness, interpersonal psychotherapy, solution focused therapy and eye-movement desensitisation reprocessing (EMDR). Jessica has a genuine interest in helping people to build psychological resilience, essential for coping with the difficult times in life.

Skye Stewart

Locations: Gateshead

Qualifications

Experience

Specialist in EAP, Worker’s Compensation, Medicare and Private counselling, mediations, presentations and Critical Incident Support. She can provide CBT, ACT, Brief Solution Focussed therapy, Brain based approaches, as well as EFT and The Swan Technique. She is experienced in working with trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, anger management, alcohol, bullying and harassment, stress management, adjustment issues, relationship and family issues.


Stephanie Hunter

Locations: Kincumber (Central Coast)

Experience

Stephanie has been counselling under Employee Assistance Programs and private referrals for the past 10 years. She is experienced in short-term interventions to treat a range of disorders including for the management of anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, pain management, and family issues. Stephanie also has 10 years experience in the injury rehabilitation sector and enjoys vocational counselling and career guidance.


Jim Chapman

Locations: Mayfield & Muswellbrook

Experience

Jim began working as a Psychologist in 1981 has very broad experience helping people with a wide range of anxiety, depression, grief, work-related stress, compounded life stresses, motivation, goal achievement and planning. He is particularly interested in assisting people with pain management, coping with health issues as well as work related concerns. He has also worked with people from a range of cultures in Australia and overseas and is deeply committed to supporting members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. He has a young family, is a musician and enjoys surfing and the bush.


Amanda Rose

Locations: Tuggerah (Central Coast)

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology

Experience

Her therapeutic interventions are with a focus on Short Term Solution Focussed, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment therapy within a Motivational Interviewing Framework.  She is also skilled in applying concepts such as mindfulness, psycho-education, skills training and relaxation techniques to educate, support and empower clients.

Amanda has a young family and is an avid movie goer.


Lynn Fox

Experience

Lynn has experience helping people with a wide range of anxiety, depression, grief, work-related stress, drug and alcohol difficulties, posttraumatic stress, conflict and anger issues as well as critical incidents. Lynn’s therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational and Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy as well as elements of DBT and harm minimisation


Ian Kilpatrick

Ian has many years experience specialising in Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress, Anxiety and Depression. He also works with clients with stress management , conflict resolution and anger management issues. Ian’s therapeutic approach involves Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Brief and Trauma Focused therapy.

Kim has experience over many years assisting clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, work-related stress, drug and alcohol dependency, posttraumatic stress, child and or sexual abuse and domestic violence. Kim is also experienced with Fitness for Work Assessments, Management assistance and Critical Incident response. Kim’s special interest area is teenagers as youth.
