Our experienced, professionally qualified Counsellors hold formal University qualifications and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They practice according to professional and ethical standards set out by the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and AHPRA.

Harry Parker Director

Harry has over 40 years of business experience in risk management, client relationships, management, marketing, business development, contract negotiation, ethics and corporate governance. He is a strong advocate for promoting the highest standards of professionalism and ethics within the EAP Industry particularly throughout the Asia Pacific Region. Harry is a Past President of The Asia Pacific Employee Assistance Roundtable (APEAR), Past Adjunct Director of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association International (EAPA), Past Treasurer of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association International (EAPA – Australian Branch) and Past International Officer of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Australia (EAPAA). He is also a Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and the Hunter Business Chamber.
Ron Farrell Psychologist

Ron has over 30 years experience as a Counsellor working with disability, injury rehabilitation, critical incident services and psychological counselling. His interests are in medical psychology and working with the elderly. He has specalised in trauma counselling services in the coal industry, emergency services and veteran community. He has two grown up daughters and enjoys body surfing and music.
Maudy Liu Psychologist

Maudy has over 30 years of experience in counselling. She specialises in EAP counselling, working with adults, couples and older persons. Maudy has experience in providing psychology treatment in areas of stress, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, anger issues and other personal and work related concerns. Maudy enjoys good food.
Veronica Lange Psychologist

Veronica has over nine years experience in counselling and has worked in injury rehabilitation and private practice as a Psychologist. Veronica has an interest in helping clients with anxiety, depression, trauma related stress and workplace stress. She also has experience in critical incident support. Veronica enjoys time with her family, good food and travel.
Claudia Riedell Psychologist

Claudia has over 20 years experience as a Counselling Psychologist working with children, families, adolescents, individuals, providing critical incident services and psychological counselling. Her interests are in Health psychology, couple therapy, Mindfullness, ACT and Buddhist Psychology. She specialises in EAP services, mediation and marriage counselling. Claudia has 4 grown up children and a grandson. She enjoys reading, movies, theatre, music, dinners out, travel, yoga, swimming in the sea and walking on the beach.
Stephanie Hunter Psychologist

Stephanie has been counselling under Employee Assistance Program and private referrals for the past 10 years. She is experienced in short-term interventions to treat a range of disorders including for the management of anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, pain management, and family issues. Stephanie also has 10 years experience in the injury rehabilitation sector and enjoys vocational counselling and career guidance.
Jim Chapman Psychologist

Jim began working as a Psychologist in 1981 has very broad experience helping people with a wide range of anxiety, depression, grief, work-related stress, compounded life stresses, motivation, goal achievement and planning. He is particularly interested in assisting people with pain management, coping with health issues as well as work related concerns. He has also worked with people from a range of cultures in Australia and overseas and is deeply committed to supporting members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. He has a young family, is a musician and enjoys surfing and the bush.
Doug Calder Psychologist

Doug has over 22 years of clinical experience in providing psychological services to individuals and groups in the private, public and community sectors. His expertise covers crisis interventions, psycho-educational programs and risk assessment. He is skilled and interested in post trauma interventions, injury rehabilitation and cognitive behavioural therapies for anxiety and depression.
Stephen Peate Psychologist

Stephen has over 33 years experience providing psychological treatment for anxiety, depression, relationship and family difficulties, children and adolescent issues, trauma including PTSD, addiction to gambling or substance misuse, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, sexual dysfunction and identity issues.
His expertise includes training, psychological testing and assessment, recruitment, group supervision, neuropsychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, organisational psychology and critical incident management.
