Our experienced, professionally qualified Psychologists hold formal University qualifications and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They practice according to professional and ethical standards set out by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and AHPRA.

A commitment to continued professional development, sense of community and an overriding desire to improve clients’ lives utilising recognised and proven practices are the core features of our Psychologists.

Harry Parker – Owner & Director

Qualifications

Experience

Harry has over 40 years of business experience in risk management, client relationships, management, marketing, business development, contract negotiation, ethics and corporate governance. He is a strong advocate for promoting the highest standards of professionalism and ethics within the EAP Industry particularly throughout the Asia Pacific Region. Harry is a Past President of The Asia Pacific Employee Assistance Roundtable (APEAR), Past Adjunct Director of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association International (EAPA), Past Treasurer of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association International (EAPA – Australian Branch) and Past International Officer of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Australia (EAPAA). He is also a Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and currently on the Newcastle Committee, Newcastle Business Club and Hunter Business Chamber.

 

Emily Perry – Practice Manager

Experience

Emily has over 25 years experience in Administration and has worked across several different industries. She takes pride in providing caring and supportive services to both our clients and psychologists. Her vast experience in customer service is also one of her key strengths.

Alix Bilton – Psychologist

Location: Bolton St, Newcastle

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Art Therapy

Alix has experience working with clients providing assessment and treatment using behavioural and psychotherapy interventions such as CBT, ACT, DBT, IPT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy and is a specialist in Art Therapy.


Ben Kelly – Psychologist

Location: Kurri Kurri

  • Graduate Certificate in Psychological Studies

Experience

Ben has experience over many years assisting clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, work-related stress, drug and alcohol dependency, posttraumatic stress and trauma. He also specialises in trauma, job loss/redundancy and conflict management.


Jessica Scala  -Psychologist

Location: Telehealth sessions only

  • Graduate Diploma of Rehabilitation Counselling

Jessica has experience working with clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, PTSD, work related issues, anger and aggression management. She uses therapies such as mindfulness, interpersonal psychotherapy, solution focused therapy and eye-movement desensitisation reprocessing (EMDR). Jessica has a genuine interest in helping people to build psychological resilience, essential for coping with the difficult times in life.


Jim Chapman – Psychologist

Location: Mayfield

Experience

Jim began working as a Psychologist in 1981 has very broad experience helping people with a wide range of anxiety, depression, grief, work-related stress, compounded life stresses, motivation, goal achievement and planning. He is particularly interested in assisting people with pain management, coping with health issues as well as work related concerns. He has also worked with people from a range of cultures in Australia and overseas and is deeply committed to supporting members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. He has a young family, is a musician and enjoys surfing and the bush.


Kim Kalousek – Psychologist

Locations: Singleton, Newcastle & Muswellbrook

Experience

Kim has experience over many years assisting clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, work-related stress, drug and alcohol dependency, posttraumatic stress, child and or sexual abuse and domestic violence. Kim is also experienced with Fitness for Work Assessments, Management assistance and Critical Incident response. Kim’s special interest area is teenagers and youth in general.


Kylie Jones – Psychologist

Location: Cardiff

Experience

Kylie has experience working with clients with issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, Substance abuse/dependence, addictions, grief and loss, relationship/interpersonal issues, trauma (including complex trauma), anger issues, Self-esteem, Victims of domestic violence, Self-harming/suicidal and Work place stress/bullying. She also provides therapy to rapy to Neurodiverse clients including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.  Kylie uses evidence-based strategies in various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, SoIution Focused Therapy, Interpersonai Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy 


Maudy Liu – Psychologist

Location: Telehealth sessions only

Experience

Maudy has over 30 years of experience in counselling. She specialises in EAP counselling, working with adults, couples and older persons. Maudy has experience in providing psychology treatment in areas of stress, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, anger issues and other personal and work related concerns. Maudy enjoys good food.


Skye Stewart – Psychologist

Locations: Cardiff and Mayfield

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)

Experience

Specialist in EAP, Worker’s Compensation, Medicare and Private counselling, mediations, presentations and Critical Incident Support. She can provide CBT, ACT, Brief Solution Focussed therapy, Brain based approaches, as well as EFT and The Swan Technique. She is experienced in working with trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, anger management, alcohol, bullying and harassment, stress management, adjustment issues, relationship and family issues.


Stephanie Hunter – Psychologist

Location: Kincumber (Central Coast)

  • Bachelor of Psychology with Honours

Experience

Stephanie has been counselling under Employee Assistance Programs and private referrals. She is experienced in short-term interventions to treat a range of disorders including for the management of anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, pain management, and family issues. Stephanie also has experience in the injury rehabilitation sector and enjoys vocational counselling and career guidance.


Silvia Belo-Tomic – Clinical Psychologist

Location: Tuggerah (Central Coast)

Experience

Silvia has experience counselling for anxiety, anger management, depression, grief and bereavement, self-esteem, trauma (complex trauma, PTSD, emotional, physical, sexual abuse), co-dependence and personality disturbances. She utilises evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy as well as utilising principles of Mindfulness practice and positive psychology. Her area of speciality is helping adolecents to gain a better understanding of their conditions and exploring underlying factors that lead to abnormal behaviours/habits, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, anger management, grief, complex trauma, self-esteem, and gender identity.
